Kangchenjunga is situated at the border of India and Nepal in of North Sikkim region along with more mountain peaks with 7,000 m (23,000 ft) elevation.

Anamudi is located at the junction of three major hills of Western Ghats the Cardamom Hills, the Anaimalai Hills and the Palani Hills.

The Patkai hills again contains three hill ranges The Patkai-Bum, famous the Garo-Khasi-Jaintia and Lushai Hills. Blue mountain is the highest peak in Lushai hills of Mizoram state with an elevation of  2,157 m (7,077 ft).
