Amritsar TV tower at village Gharinda in suburban Amritsar is more than 280 meters tall at present. Its planned height is 300 meters 984 feet. It is a steel tower on a reinforced concrete foundation.

After a major portion of the Gharinda Tower was demolished, the present height of that tower is now 203 meters.
