The state of Madhya Pradesh has highest number of tiger population in India by 2023 Tiger Census with the presence of 526 Tigers in India. There are seven tiger reserves in Madhya Pradesh including the newest addition known as Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve in Damoh district.
