Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh is also known as Tribal state of India after Odisha and followed by Jharkhand. The forest areas of Chhattisgarh state is mainly occupied by tribes such as Gond, Halba, Kamar/Bujia and Oraon.

Jharkhand

Jharkhand is home to 32 tribes, Munda, Gond, Santhal, Kharia, Oraon and Mahli are few.
The highest concentration of tribal population of Jharkhand are locatead at Kodarma and Khunti district of the state.

Madhya Pradesh

Tamil Nadu

Todas, Kotas, Kurumbas, Irulas, Paniyas, and Kattunayakas are the six particularly major tribes in Tamil Nadu. The state has tribes population primarily live in and around the Nilgiris district.

North East Indian States – Arunachal Pradesh
