Coffee production in India on the hills of South Indian states, Karnataka followed by Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The five most prominent coffee-producing states in India, as of my last knowledge 2023 are:
Karnataka is the largest coffee-producing state in India. The regions of Coorg (Kodagu) and Chikmagalur are particularly well-known for their coffee cultivation.
Kerala is another major coffee-producing state in India, with coffee estates located primarily in the Wayanad district.
Tamil Nadu is known for coffee cultivation in the Nilgiris district. This region produces both Arabica and Robusta coffee beans.
The Araku Valley region in Andhra Pradesh is gaining recognition for its high-quality, specialty coffee production.
The Koraput region in Odisha has also started to produce coffee in recent years and is known for its specialty coffee beans.
