Uttar Pradesh is the leading mango-producing state in India. It is known for its production of various mango varieties, including the famous “Dasheri” and “Langra.”
Andhra Pradesh is a major mango-producing state, and it is known for its mango orchards in places like Krishna and West Godavari districts.
Karnataka is another significant mango-producing state, with regions like Kolar and Chikkaballapur being well-known for mango cultivation.
Bihar is a prominent mango-producing state, particularly in the districts of Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur. Mango production can vary from year to year based on factors.
Gujarat have mostly grown kesar, alphanso and langra varieties of mango, Please note that the rankings and production figures may have changed since my last update in September 2022.
Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal are also good producer of different variety of mangoes in India.
