Madhai is the base point for most of the wildlife safari in Satpura National Park, offer you adventure from all the corners with beautiful views of the mountains, Satpura forest, deep gorges, backwaters of dam-reservoir and river.
Tawa Reservoir spreads over approximately 6000 km2 and forms the western boundary of Satpura National Park and Bori Wildlife Sanctuary. The backwater is home to list of birds including migratory birds Bar-headed Goose, Ruddy Shelduck and species of Sandpiper.
Waders or shorebirds are commonly found along shorelines and mudflats, There are about 210 species of wader birds found in India, live in wetland or coastal environments.
