HRIDAY, National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana to preserve the unique character of heritage cities of India. The heritage infrastructure projects include urban infrastructure, protection for monuments,ghats, temples and development of road,parking transportation and information kiosks.

Ajmer, Rajasthan

Ajmer city is famous for the shrine of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and selected as one of the heritage cities for Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana scheme.

Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati city is the new capital of Andhra Pradesh state and The planned city is located on the southern banks of the Krishna river in Guntur district. The mega city of Amaravati will be developed as one of the well planned city and satellite towns of India.
